Host a future ASANA Softball World Series!
Hosting the ASANA Softball World Series (ASWS) is an incredible opportunity to spotlight your city’s LGBTQ+ community and help bring one of the nation’s largest amateur LGBTQ+ sporting events to life. The host city selection is a multi-step process designed to ensure each bid city has the infrastructure, resources, and commitment needed for a successful tournament.
Here’s an overview of the ASWS Bid Process:

Intent to Bid – Submit your official Intent to Bid via the online form. The ASANA Board will review,
provide feedback, and approve qualified cities to move forward.

Bid Development – Approved cities complete key agreements, pay the bid fee, and may host an ASANA site visit.

Bid Finalization – Work with ASANA’s hotel partner to secure host hotels, finalize contract details, and prepare formal presentations.

Presentation & Selection – Present your bid to the ASANA Council for a vote. Successful cities will move forward to contract signing and event planning.
